Description
CASSIDA FM SUGAR DISSOLVING FLUID is a specially formulated emulsifying oil-based concentrate for removing sugar deposits that accumulate on machinery in the food and sugar manufacturing industries.
Certified by NSF for ISO 21469 and registered by NSF (Class H1) for incidental food contact, this product is manufactured according to FLT Quality Standards and complies with HACCP protocols, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ISO 9001, and ISO 21469 hygiene management systems.
Applications
• Cleaning and flushing sugar or sugar-based deposits from food and beverage manufacturing equipment.
• Freeing moving parts, screws, or bolts stuck with sugar deposits.
Lubricating lightly loaded bearings and slideways in areas prone to sugar buildup.
• Cleaning sugar residues from filter meshes and screens.
General Instructions
• Preparation: Before use, agitate the concentrate thoroughly by rolling or shaking the container.
• Dilution: Mix with potable water at a 1:1 ratio. For effective sugar removal, ensure a minimum dilution of 30% concentrate in water. Higher water ratios improve sugar dissolving but reduce lubrication and corrosion protection
• Application: Apply small quantities of diluted fluid to affected surfaces. Wipe with a clean cloth or one soaked in the diluted fluid.
• Rinsing: Remove excess fluid and rinse with potable water for surfaces in direct contact with food.
• Corrosion Protection: Non-food-contact surfaces may be treated with neat or diluted fluid to leave an oil film that prevents corrosion and further sugar buildup.
• Final Cleaning: Before production, ensure all surfaces are wiped clean.
Seal and Paint Compatibility
• Compatible with elastomers, gaskets, seals, and paints commonly used in food machinery lubrication systems.
Handling and Storage
All food grade lubricants should be stored separately from other lubricants, chemical substances and foodstuffs and out of direct sunlight or other heat sources. Store between +5 °C and +40 °C. Provided that the product has been stored under these conditions we recommend to use the product within 5 years from the date of manufacture. Upon opening a pack, the product must be used within 2 years.“General Instructions for Use”. Diluted CASSIDA FM SUGAR DISSOLVING FLUID should be used within 2 weeks of preparation. Do not store CASSIDA FM SUGAR DISSOLVING FLUID at temperatures below +5 °C.
