Description
PARALIQ GTE 703 is a specialized lubricating grease formulated with silicone oil and PTFE. It is NSF H1 registered and meets the FDA 21 CFR § 178.3570 regulations. In addition to being ideal for seals, this product is suitable for use in very low-load rolling bearings within the beverage industry where an EPDM-compatible H1 lubricant is required. It is designed for applications with a C/P ratio greater than 30 and slow speeds. PARALIQ GTE 703 is resistant to both hot and cold water, disinfectants, cleaning agents, and steam. When applied correctly, it will not affect froth formation or the taste of beer. Doemens Academy GmbH in Gräfelfing, Germany, has confirmed that PARALIQ GTE 703 meets all requirements for sealing grease in dispensing units.
Application
PARALIQ GTE 703 is a specialized grease for use in beer taps, barrel filling installations, and valves. It is ideal for lubricating seals in the beverage industry when an H1 grease compatible with EPDM is needed.
Application Notes
PARALIQ GTE 703 can be applied using a spatula, grease gun, or directly from the tube. When working with highly viscous lubricants, careful attention should be given to the lubrication technique. It is important to avoid air intake in the system, as high pressure can cause oxidation and product decomposition. For this reason, it is recommended to pump the product at the lowest possible pressure. We also suggest consulting with the manufacturer of the application equipment being used. Users should always ensure that only new high-pressure pumping lines are used in their lubrication equipment. To prevent grease leakage, protective gear such as goggles should be worn.
