Description
Klüberfood 4 NH 1-32 is a synthetic hydrocarbon-based hydraulic oils designed for high-performance lubrication in food-processing and pharmaceutical applications. It offers excellent oxidation stability, low-temperature performance, and protection against friction and wear. This oil meets HLP requirements according to DIN 51524 Part 2 and provide good corrosion resistance along with efficient water separation properties.
Klüberfood 4 NH 1-32 is NSF H1 registered, ensuring compliance with FDA 21 CFR § 178.3570. It is developed for incidental contact with food products and packaging materials, making it suitable for use in the food-processing, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, and animal feed industries. It's application can enhance production reliability, though an additional risk assessment (e.g., HACCP) is recommended.
Application
Klüberfood 4 NH 32 hydraulic oil is specifically formulated for use in food-processing and pharmaceutical industries where reliable, food-grade hydraulic lubrication is required.
Application Instructions
- Klüberfood 4 NH 32 is miscible with mineral-oil-based hydraulic fluids, but system flushing with a suitable Klüberfood 4 NH 32 oil is recommended before the initial application to ensure compliance with food regulations.
- Flushing should be performed at 50 to 60°C to effectively remove residues and previously used oil from the hydraulic system.
- After flushing, filters should be changed before introducing Klüberfood 4 NH 32 oil into full operation.
