Klüberfood NH1 34-401: High-Performance Lubricating Grease for Feed Pellet Presses
Reliable Lubrication for Demanding Applications
As a manufacturer or operator of feed pellet presses, you need a versatile and efficient lubricating grease that simplifies initial and relubrication processes while minimizing the risk of product mix-up.
Klüberfood NH1 34-401 is a synthetic grease formulated with a special calcium complex thickener to ensure exceptional adhesion, water resistance, and low friction torque. This allows for smooth bearing operation, even during start-up, contributing to lower maintenance costs and increased equipment reliability.
This lubricant is NSF H1-registered and meets FDA 21 CFR § 178.3570 standards, making it suitable for applications where incidental food contact may occur. For enhanced safety, we recommend conducting a risk analysis (e.g., HACCP) before implementation.
Applications
Klüberfood NH1 34-401 is designed for a wide range of friction points, including:
- Guides, open gears, and rolling/plain bearings exposed to high loads, moisture, and steam
- Rolling bearings in:
- Animal feed pellet presses
- Hammer mills
- Slaughterhouse equipment
- Open gears operating in wet environments
- Pneumatic control and sealing elements
This multi-purpose grease enhances machine reliability and helps reduce the number of lubricants required for different applications.
Application Guidelines
- Can be applied using standard grease application tools, such as spatulas, grease guns, or centralized lubrication systems.
- Before application, thoroughly clean all lubrication points to maintain maximum hygiene and food safety standards.
- If cleaning is not possible, we recommend purging the system during relubrication to replace the existing grease.
- For guidance on grease compatibility, relubrication procedures, or optimization strategies, contact our Sales Engineers.
