Description
Klüberfood NH1 6-180 is a ready-to-use, stable aqueous solution formulated with a special synthetic fluid that provides excellent lubrication and sliding properties. It is designed for use in the food processing industry, particularly in confectionery applications.
Klüberfood NH1 6-180 is NSF H1 registered and complies with FDA 21 CFR § 178.3570, making it safe for incidental contact with food products and packaging materials. It is also suitable for use in the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, and animal feed industries. Implementing Klüberfood NH1 6-180 can enhance the reliability of production processes, but an additional risk analysis, such as HACCP, is recommended.
Applications
Klüberfood NH1 6-180 is particularly effective in environments where sugar buildup is a concern, making it ideal for lubricating:
- Rocking levers
- Chain joints
- Tracing pins
- Spindles
- Lifting devices
- Tongs
- Running surfaces in tablet-compressing, packing, tin-foiling, and wrapping machines
Additionally, it serves as a food-grade deep drawing lubricant for forming aluminum bottle caps in the beverage and pharmaceutical industries.
Application Instructions
-
Klüberfood NH1 6-180 is a concentrate that mixes easily with water—stirring is sufficient.
- For sugar-dissolving applications, a 1:1 mixing ratio with water is recommended.
- Higher water content may be used based on specific application needs.
- For deep drawing lubrication, the user should determine the appropriate water-to-product ratio. A 1:5 ratio (concentrate to water) is generally recommended.
