Klüberfood NH1 CHT 6-220 – High-Temperature Synthetic Chain Oil
Optimized Lubrication for Baking Ovens
Klüberfood NH1 CHT 6-220 is a synthetic high-temperature oil based on polyglycol, specially formulated for chain lubrication in baking ovens. Its advanced additive technology ensures superior friction reduction, exceptional wear protection, and resistance to fretting corrosion, particularly in high-stress pin/bush areas.
Key Benefits:
- Minimizes friction and reduces wear
- Protects against fretting corrosion, extending chain life
- Excellent viscosity-temperature stability, reducing oil loss and maintaining performance under extreme heat
Food-Safe and Certified
Klüberfood NH1 CHT 6-220 is NSF H1-registered, complying with FDA 21 CFR § 178.3570, making it suitable for incidental contact with food and packaging in industries such as:
- Food processing (e.g., bakery chains)
- Cosmetics production
- Pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Animal feed processing
For enhanced safety, we recommend an additional risk analysis, such as HACCP assessment.
Application Guidelines
- Can be applied using a suitable chain lubrication system.
- Check reservoir material compatibility before use.
- Avoid mixing with non-compatible or non-food-grade lubricants.
- Designed for object/chain temperatures up to ~160°C, with oven temperatures reaching ~300°C under specific conditions.
- Ensure adequate ventilation when operating under high temperatures.
