Description

Klüberpaste UH1 96-402 Spray is a high-temperature lubricating and assembly paste designed for use in hygienically sensitive environments. It features fully synthetic base oils combined with ceramic solid lubricants, ensuring excellent performance under extreme conditions.

• At temperatures up to 160°C, Klüberpaste UH1 96-402 Spray provides water-resistant lubrication with strong adhesion to metal surfaces.
• At permanently high temperatures up to 1200°C, its solid lubricating particles remain in friction contact, protecting fits from tribocorrosion and fretting corrosion.

Klüberpaste UH1 96-402 Spray is NSF H1 registered, complying with FDA 21 CFR § 178.3570, making it safe for incidental contact with food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and animal feed products. Its use enhances production reliability, though an additional risk assessment (e.g., HACCP) is recommended.

Application

Klüberpaste UH1 96-402 Spray is ideal for high-load friction points in food-processing and pharmaceutical machinery, including:

• Assembly applications – Prevents fretting corrosion in transition and loose fits.
• Screw connections – Optimizes tightening torque and easy disassembly, even after extended use, particularly for high-alloy steel fasteners.
• Long-term lubrication – Suitable for low-speed guide rails, hinges, and rollers.

Note: The friction values listed in the product data section were measured using two materials. If using with other materials, compatibility testing is recommended.

Application Instructions

• Shake well before use.
• Ensure proper ventilation during spraying to prevent the formation of explosive mixtures.
• Do not spray onto open flames, hot, or incandescent surfaces.
• Avoid spraying in confined spaces, such as control cabinets.
• For maximum hygiene, thoroughly clean all lubrication points before application using Klüberfood NK1 Z 8-001 Spray.
• Store in a cool, dry place, protecting from direct sunlight and temperatures above 50°C.
