Applications

Lunaria SH 68 is designed for lubricating refrigerating compressors (reciprocating and screw) that use ammonia as a refrigerant.

• Formulated with PAO (polyalphaolefin) base oils to enhance oil drain intervals and ensure optimal performance, even at extremely low temperatures.
• Suitable for evaporator temperatures down to -50°C.

• Superior oxidation resistance in ammonia environments. The synthetic base oil and specialized additives prevent the formation of black sludge caused by oil-ammonia reactions.
• Low pour point, preventing residual lubricant from freezing in the evaporator, ensuring efficient heat exchange.
